Annual Show 2010

Our annual show was held at Capel Manor College over the late May bank holiday.

The show was well attended and attracted a number of stunning exhibits. The pictures on this website show just a small number of the excellent plants on display.

Best cactus in show and judge's choice this remarkable cristate Ariocarpus has also won first at the National Show. It was purchased about 12 years ago without roots and rerooted by plunging it into a bucket of water for 48 hours and planting it up with bottom heat. It is now grown in a soiless medium with regular fertilizer.

Fenestraria rhopalophylla ssp aurantiaca, Cerochlamys pachyphylla v albiflora and Cheiridopsis pillansii winner of the Ivory cup for three plants from the Mesembryanthemum group. The Fenestraria could be some 40 years old.
